When I take photos of my wife on a trip, I’m not in them. When she takes mine, she’s not in them. The only photos of us together are arm’s-length selfies, or ones we ask a stranger to take.

So I started wondering: what if we could just focus on the trip, and someone quietly captured us being ourselves? Not posed shots that eat up half a day. Just the walking, the laughing, the in-between moments, until the journey itself becomes a small documentary. That’s why I started MOMENTIK.

I want to make this my work, and to get there, I need more experience. So here’s an offer.

I’m offering a free, one-hour photo session in Seoul for international visitors and foreign residents in Korea. Come on your own or with one other person. We’ll pick one area of the city and simply walk and take photos. You don’t need to know how to pose. I’ll give you a little direction only when it helps.

After the session, you’ll choose up to 10 photos, and I’ll deliver the edited versions within three days.

All I ask is your OK to share the photos on MOMENTIK’s website and channels, including Instagram and TikTok. If someone comes with you, they’ll give their own consent too. The session is free, and I cover my own travel. You’ll cover your own transport, and since the session is free, if we visit a place with an entry fee, you’ll cover admission for both of us. We’ll go over any costs before confirming a date.
